House Tour | Home Design and Decoration | Mesi Szigeti

Hi guys, welcome to my channel again. Today’s video is a special edition since it’s about my new home. So many of you’ve asked me
to show my new home after posting some #homedesign kinda
pictures on my Instagram. So I’ve decided to make complete Home Tour video and I’m showing you everything right now. Hope you will enjoy it! So this is what you can see
when entering my home. Well, I couldn’t place a hall coat rack here so I’ve ordered this simple shelf
and rod and installed the combo to hang my and my guests’ coats. While on the shelf you can see white boxes in which I store gloves, hats, beanies and scarves. Then, this is the cabinet where I store my shoes. I really love these kind
of shoe cabinets with shelves actually, and I usually clean my shoes after
arriving home and put them into the cabinet – don’t like leaving them in front of the front door. And now we’re arriving to the living room actually. Over there you can see my couch and a small ottoman Then here’s my TV and Ikea Malm
dressers as my TV holder. and you can enter to my dining room
and kitchen from here. Well, I change position to
show you everything on one picture guys. Yeah, this is it. Umm, to be honest, the dining room
is one of my favorite parts of my home. Maybe I love it this much because this time I didn’ have to compromise at all. I could choose any furnitures and decors, noone said ‘Meh, it’s too girly for me’ or ‘I miss some brighter colors’ etc. So, I’ve chosen these stylish and classy beige chairs from JYSK (you can find all the links in the caption part). And umm, I think they match
perfectly with my old, shiny white table. Beyond the desk and chairs you can see a big mirror – actually I’m in love with mirrors since they make the rooms larger and more beautiful. Actually, the main point when placing the mirror was to see both chandeliers reflected. As you can see I have 2 similar chandeliers a smaller one above the dining table
and a bigger one in my living room. The mirror itself is an old one actually, found in my Mum’s house. It had an ugly and dirty white frame that I’ve changed to silver using a color spray. On my table you can see some
Christmas decors right now, Well, silver accessories dominates the whole house that I love combining with champagne gold –
like the colors of my Advent Wreath. It’s a handmade wreath made by me though. The other decors are from JYSK again, here’s a mirror box that I found very practical since I can hide every small thing from my
SD cards to chewing gum here, haha. What’s more, here’re some silver candle holders too. Umm, on the other side of the room you can see a sideboard. Well, instead of glasses or plates
I’ve decided to put books into it. Actually, I love reading so much and I placed my all time favorites here. For me, when choosing the sideboard it was important to have only a few transparent parts because I love when everything has its own place
and don’t like leaving my stuff visible for others. So this sideboard seemed
pretty practical to hide things actually. As you can see, there’re two pictures above it. I’ll talk about these photos later on by the way. And on the top, there’s a lil Christmas again. Unfortunately you can’t smell my
beloved scents but believe me they’re so lovely. The Jysk silver tray is a big crush for me, I think it fits the room perfectly.
This season I use it to store my #xmas candles. By the way, my actual favorite is this Glade
scent called Nutcracker delight. Haha, such a perfect match with this
white and gold guy, don’t you think? 🙂 And here’s my living room again. where… Just a minute… I step backwards
so you can see everything dolls. So, beige and white are the main
colors dominating my living room too. First of all, I’ve created a simple
TV holder from Ikea Malm dressers. Actually, it’s a pretty small flat and don’t have a closet
so I need every single furniture to store my stuff. These dressers are the ones where
I keep sheets, towels and sweaters etc. so everything that are okay to layer in drawers. And here’s my selfie mirror that can be familiar to you guys. It’s a funny thing but the main point
when applying this mirror was to make great selfies here – even when I sit.
That’s why it’s only a few cms above the floors. …another candle holder, yes. And my couch. The fact is I spend the most time here. When choosing the perfect couch and ottoman,
the most important feature was to find something cheap, stylish and easy to clean. Because as you know, I have a dog and yes, I’m super lame and always spill the coffee too so, the beige layer is removable and
washable I’m happy to say. It was one of the cheapest ones I’ve seen tho, found it in Ikea and I think it’s
pretty classy and super comfy too. Then, about the simple white and colored curtains of mine. Um, from my point of view having both of them makes every home more beautiful and stylish and I also prefer long curtains from the ceiling to the floors. The result is way more elegant this way, isn’t it? and the colored curtains make a frame
to the whole wall I think. Not a funny fun fact: I always measure the
width of the colored curtains and make the width of two side exactly the same by placing curtain stops on the rail. Fun fact number two: I store flat stuffs like mop bucket and other cleaning tools or the ironing board behind the colored curtains over there.
Said I don’t like living ugly stuff visible, haha. And here comes three more pictures
in those big black frames. Similar to the ones you could see in my dining room. They’re special to me since all of these frames contains a picture of a destination
I would love to visit soon. To me, they make an inspiration board actually.
There are 9 different kinda pictures like this at my home, with cities and places where I wanna travel to
during the next few years. Show you them if you’re interested in my Top 9. First of all, Santorini in Greece,
would love to spend a summer holiday here. Secondly, Nevada state in the US. Then, Tokyo in Japan. (Nevada, and yes, here it is, Tokyo, Japan) I’ve downloaded these pics from unsplash.com.
Checked so many pages to find photos that have similar colors and feeling actually, and edited the name of the places, the labels by myself. From here you can see the kitchen perfectly, it’s not ready yet because I’d like to make the kitchen fronts shiny white by using stickers. If you’re interested in a video
of this do it yourself project, please leave a comment and I can show you the whole process step by step. So this kitchen will be white
instead of this beige design soon. So we’re back to the dining room again and here are 2 more travel inspos – maybe you’ve already checked the cities: Prague and Paris. So this was my living room,
dining room and kitchen all together, and yes, my Christmas tree is ready – I usually decorate it early in December. It’s a new tree by the way ordered from emag.hu.
Unfortunately I’m not pretty satisfied since they said it’s 2meters high. That’s correct, but as you can see
that last branch is nearly 1 meter, haha. So lame and cute at the same time, huh? 🙂 Not only the tree but most of the presents are ready too.
Put them to their place already. And yes, there’re some stuning Christmas lanterns under the tree too making this corner super cozy. So, we’re finished here I guess, let’s see
some other rooms guys, okie? Welcome to my bedroom… where you can meet my makeup corner first. A super beautiful bench from
Jysk again, collection Stenlille. Chosen this cause on the one hand it’s so classy while on the other hand, it matches to
the chairs in my dining room. So, when more than 4 guests arrive to
visit me, I move this around the table over there and we can all sit and have fun
while the design is still perfect and trendy. The makeup desk is a simple one with
glass coverage from the Ikea. My morning routine starts here every single day. There’s a narrow mirror above the desk to
create my daily makeup perfectly, and there’s a special inspiration board above the mirror. I’ll change the original pictures from the frames
for sure, and I’ll place motivational quotes and photos into them. Will show the result
soon on Instagram I promise. By the way these frames are also from Jysk, this was the cheapest solution to decorate this spot
but I think it will be so pretty when I finish. Then, this is the only shelf in my flat actually
(hate cleaning and leaving my stuff visible you know) This Ikea shelf is to store my make-ups:
lipsticks, brushes, palettes and so on. Using plastic boxes to keep my things clean
like this one in which I store the watches. But as you can see I use plastic boxes
to store my makeups as well. I have only one wardrobe. This white one from Kika. I keep most of my clothes here, I show you the way I keep them tho,
so many of you ask on Instagram. My point is, on the left side I store warm colored clothes, while on the right side there’re the cold colored ones. So I sort my clothes by colors actually. Both side have hangers only, I store nearly all of my clothes (except sweaters and tees) on hangers, and my bags are up here mainly in boxes to preserve them. So, here you can see the cold colored clothes of mine. I have a very strict rule by the way: I have a fix number of hangers and if there’re no more hangers to use, I’m not allowed to buy new clothes until I sell or gift an old piece of mine. That simple rule helps me to keep a balance and
not to buy things I don’t need at all. Oh yes, another dresser from Ikea where I store jewelleries and accessories
like my pumps collection I can show you this one too guys.
Here they are, my high heels. And my beloved fragrances on the top. Let’s see my actual favorites: Armani Sí,
Chloe – this one, yes and Daisy Love by Marc Jacobs. And here’s my bed. Have a floor lamp that I use before sleeping only. As you can see, curtains run from the ceiling to the floor again, and grey colored curtains frame the window. And here I covered the whole wall with curtains
though there’s only one narrow window. White curtains are from Kika actually,
they cut and sew them there, while the colored ones are from Jysk again,
have such a beautiful soft grey shade. This is where I sleep. For me it’s pretty important
to have a huge bed. This is a 180 x 200 cms white bed. Then, you can see the next three destinations above this time in white frames not black. The bed itself is from Kika but its a pretty old one,
had this in my bedroom at my Mum’s place actually. It’s white back fits perfectly with my
Jysk Stenlille beige makeup brench by the way. And last but not least, just like any
other women I do love pile up many pillows… (oh, hi there little Millie) so I have 6 pillows here and a
knitted blanket at the bottom of the bed. One of my favorites is this little silver star. So this is it. Here you can see Singapore, then California but here the main point is the car,
I had a Mini before and now don’t have a car at all, so it’s an inspo to have one again. And finally a photo of Bali as a dream destination. Last but not least, there’s a picture of Sydney in the hall as well. There’s a small bathroom and a
toilet separately over there and that’s all. So we arrived to the living room again, that was my little flat to show. So our home tour has just finished guys. Please leave a comment of your
opinion under this video. What you liked and disliked, what you think and what the most important features are for you
when it’s about buying furnitures and decorations. What colors you prefer. So I’m
waiting for your experiences my dears. See you next time, many hugs and bye guys ♥ List of the furnitures and links to shop
can be found in the caption part of the video.
