DIY How to dry fruits for decorative purposes (ENG Subtitles) – Speed up #259

Hi. Today I will show you
how to make dried fruits. We need: …fruits… …knife… …cutting board… …baking paper… …and baking plate. Cut off the tip of kiwifruit. Now, cut it into slices (about 2-3 mm thick). Put baking paper on baking plate. Then put fruit slices on it. Do the same with other fruits. Now we will dry them. First method. Set oven to 70 C (160 F). Put baking plate into it. Close it, but leave a gap. Rotate the slices frequently. Fruits will be dry in a few hours. Be careful, don’t burn them. Second method. Place baking paper on hot radiator. Then place slices on it. Fruits will be dry in a few days. Rotate them 2-3 times every day. This method requires more time, but it is safer, easier and cheaper. You can paint dried fruits by using varnish. It will secure them from moisture. And it’s done. You can also dry other fruits as apples, tangerines or limes. Food dehydrator is also a good way to dry the fruits. Dried fruits should be storage in dry place. You can use them to decorate bouquets, centerpieces, Christmas trees etc. Thanks for watching! Bye bye.
